Welcome

Immigration Training Direct is dedicated to providing you with the best possible level of training in the field of Immigration, Nationality and Asylum Law.

Our knowledge and expertise stems not only from a combined experience of over 35 years as practitioners, but also from teaching this subject matter for external course providers such as ILPA and HJT over the past 10 years. Having acquired this knowledge and experience, we believe we are ready to launch our own training web site.

The training concept applied by Immigration Training Direct is necessarily practice – oriented, because that is how we acquired our knowledge and expertise. We do not believe in reading from a pre-prepared script, because that is not how the complexities of this area of the law can be properly communicated. Experience has also taught us that the best way of imparting knowledge is to use a style of interactive teaching which we have perfected over the past 10 years. We use a combination of lecture techniques, including Q & A, practical examples, case scenario analysis and workshops, all designed to impart the maximum amount of knowledge you need.

If you would like to know more about Immigration Training Direct, please feel free to call us or write to us. Alternatively, why don’t you browse our web site. We are happy to answer any questions you might have.

In addition to the training aspect of our web site, we also provide a consultancy service to employers in order to advise clients on enforcement and compliance visits by the UKBA under the civil penalty system pursuant to section 15 of the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006, which can lead to individual fines of up to £ 10,000 for each illegal worker employed and in more serious cases, prosecution for knowingly employing an illegal migrant worker pursuant to section 21 of the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. If you want to avoid such problems, or if you have already been visited by the UKBA and want practical advice, please contact us to discuss what, if anything, we can do for you.

We are in the process of obtaining continuing professional development (CPD) accreditation with the Solicitors Regulatory Authority (SRA) and the Bar Standards Board (BSB). This process takes approximately six weeks. We shall not be providing any courses other than OISC courses until we are sure that we have the requisite accreditation.

Please keep checking our web site regularly in order to update yourself on our progress regarding this issue.
